Hong Kong Shares - paper certificates
I live in the UK and inherited Hong Kong shares some time ago and they are on paper certificates. I want to be able to sell them but have been told I need to find a Hong Kong broker to do this. Ideally I'd prefer to find a UK-based one but the ones I've contacted have said that they won't accept paper certificates. What do you advise I do next as the shares are registered with Computershare in Hong Kong who say they can't help and that I have to find a broker (and thus it goes on and on!).

Possibly Interactive Brokers (IBKR). On its fee page there's a section entitled, "Hong Kong Physical Certificate Deposit."
Edit: It would help if you'd mentioned you've already had a thread on this and that you've already tried IKBR. Which company(ies)? Have you tried asking its Company Secretary? It might have other foreign shareholders with the same issue and have some ideas.
This thread from a few years ago suggests a broker in Singapore (Phillip Securities (POEMS)) but whether it opens accounts for people in the UK is another question:
