Northampton St. Peter's car park scam!!!!
I have just received a parking fine for overstaying by 33 minutes. I haven't been round that area in years and genuinely didn't know that there was a new system which doesn't allow you to top up. I have gotten the letter in the post 7 days after it was dated so I have 7 days to pay it to get the reduced amount payable. I have never appealed a parking ticket before. Anyone got any advice? Is it worth appealing or should I just pay, taking into account the time to get a response, as I only have a short amount of time to pay the £60 :( I feel as though the only angle I can come at, is them not giving enough time to pay it off maybe.

A - you don't pay.
B - you complain to the admin/owner of the shopping centre to get it cancelled.
