Thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons - good morning all.
The sun was rather sluggish to appear yesterday, it waited until after 12 noon to peek out. Today could be the same though it is decidedly warmer. My fingers are crossed for actual heat.
I was so good. Did the whizz up the road to collect the two pairs of re glazed glasses and came straight back. No shopping at all, only went to the bank for cash. I'm so glad that I decided to have the glasses done, old but good frames so the not so good ones can go for recycling. And I got to wear the new prescription sunglasses despite there not being much sun!
This morning I'm off on the 50 mile each way trek for a hair cut and colour. It is madness, although the local salons are far too noisy and chaotic for me. The drive should be lovely, Arran will be putting on a good show and the sea will be beautiful which makes the drive bearable.
I hope that all are well and not to discombobulated. Hugs to all.

Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, hope you got your garden shed sorted out and you're happy with the fence.
Enjoy the views Gers and hope you get some warm sunshine today.
Enjoy your weekend away WL.
It's set to be another warm day today, the sun has been shining since I got up but there is some white cloud about so there may be some respite, yesterday was warm and sunny too, both me and the little one had to lather ourselves in sunscreen.
I'll go for a swim in a bit then to allotment 1 to do some watering and dig up some more potatoes, DD took yesterdays haul. I spent ages shelling peas in the garden yesterday and the little one ate them all!
Hope everyone is well and you manage to stay cool. Take care. XX

Good morning
Bracing ourselves for another hot day, yesterday reached 34.6degs and today is set to be the same. Couldn't believe that at 8.30pm it was still 29degs.
So, not much happening here, there's jobs need doing but it's just to hot, never mind they'll still be there when it's cooler.
We had salmon last night so will have prawn salad tonight, no cooking.
Have a good day all, hugs to anyone who needs them. Take care.

morning everyone it’s going to be another hot one I know we haven’t got as bad as the south of the country but yesterday was horrendous and today is set to be the same trying not to complain as it has to cool down a bit after today I want these temperatures in winter. Off out to do my volunteering I’m dreading unloading the van this morning but we will have the fans going in the charity shop this afternoon . Enjoy the views Gers especially with your new glasses. Salad and something tonight I will have a quick look in a minute . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning all
It’s going to be another scorcher today I am struggling to do much so just doing the bare minimum keeping on top on the washing and hoovering and that’s about it.
I have been taking little dog to the woods daily for a quick 15 min walk, big dog is still grounded, I really don’t want to take the little one out in this heat but she is a funny little thing and won’t go to 💩 in the garden so a quick walk for her to do her business and then home where it’s cooler.
My dd is back tonight it will be nice to see her, big dog will be especially pleased as she has missed her.
Dinner tonight will be pizza and salad, I will save some for dd for when she gets in.
Ive got to nip to the butcher today and get some meat for the weekend but that’s only in the next village.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning all from Mehefinland
Another hot one!! Off to acafe concert in the college this afternoon-the last one of the academic year so it may be a bit emotional! Hope it's not too warm there - its a glass fronted building which over looks the sea- spectacular views too.
Spent a lot of time yesterday faffing around with an auction lot which we won this week It is a chaise longue, matching ladies and gentleman's chairs, and 6 balloon back chairs which are not quite the same design but close if you know what I mean. They will need reupholstering as someone has had them done in a very violent green !!!! Not bad for £65 and we will sell on the balloon backs So it was a trailer into Cardiff to collect yesterday, which was 'fun'😄
Been 'persuaded' to have some chucks- they are coming in August so need to get some things sorted.
Everything seems to be happening at once! Oh well,it makes life interesting … if somewhat hectic at times.
Hope you don't get broiled. Hugs and spoons as always

Morning folks and thanks Scarlet. Happy haircut day Gers.
I'm an intermittent poster this week as each day much the same here at the caravan. Other than to say each day hotter than the last! Today they say we will peak at 32/33 deg before cooling slightly from tomorrow. It gets hotter in the van as the day goes on thanks to all the windows. The fan is working overtime. My menu plan has gone to.pot as much too hot for cooked meals!
Have a good day all, take care and be safe in the sun x

Not quite as hot today but still very sticky.
Chap worked hard putting the double glazing in upstairs yesterday. This morning while I was out shopping DH received a call to say he had broken down and we are waiting for news as to whether he'll still be coming or not to put the but front window in and a new front door.
Keep cool all xx

Morning everyone
Lovely morning again here. I've just been out for some more flowers for my last 3 empty pots, there wasn't much choice at all so I just got some petunias.
I have both little one and little foster baby staying the next two nights, though they are leaving me for a couple of hours tomorrow to go to a party, I'll use that time to go down to visit mam and dad. DD is going to start packing, as they go to Butlins next Friday…I wonder how many times little one will tell me that over the weekend!
I'm going to make my lunchtime sandwiches, then I'll put her tent up to play in after school, little baby likes to roll about in it too. Hope everyone has a good day and weekend x
