Car Insurance Quote Query Re Claims
My wife is a named driver on my policy. Last year she was hit by another driver. Entirely his fault and it was a no fault claim. We did not pay any excess nor was NCD affected. When completing quote for there is a question on whether she has had any claims or accidents so we entered the details. Then I get asked the same questions. The dilemma is that it looks like we have had multiple claims. Quote form is badly worded but there is nowhere to explain!

The claims question is usually at the point you add a named driver. Have you somehow opted for her as the main driver so the questions are being asked twice?

No, she is definitely only down as a named driver on my policy.

Which site are you obtaining quotes from?

If she is still on your policy it would be the normal convention to put it on under her as the driver at the time of the incident whereas were you to drop her as a named driver then you would put it under your own name as the policyholder at the time of the incident.
