How long does Starling take to set up?
I applied on Saturday, scanned my driving licence and sent a video of myself as requested and it said I would get a notification when it's processed. However, the app is still saying 'thanks we have everything we need, make sure notifications are turned on'. I assumed because it's a digital bank it would be more or less instant.

Can be more or less instant if everything lines up on the ID front when the checks are made automatically.
Any kind of "not quite 100%" will be referred for manual check, was a while ago but think my Starling application took a couple of days.

Thanks, I'll give it a few days and then message them.

Mine was fairly quick, but I think it depends on whether the ID checks go through automatically or get flagged for manual review. I’d give it a couple of working days before worrying.

I'd add that it's well worth getting a Starling account, I've had personal and business accounts for a few years and I think they are really good. The things they call spaces and we might think of as pots work really well and you can create virtual cards attached to particular spaces.

It came through today so I was worrying over nothing.
