When does the 30 day return start
I had a plastic shed delivered on the 1/6//2026 and it was damaged so I contacted argos and they sent a replacement on the 24/6/2026 but I'm having problems with the panels fitting together due to them being bowed so I've been on live chat with argos and they said they cannot do anything as the 30 days return have past. So can someone tell me if the return date should start from the original delivery date or the date a replacement was received.

Do you mean a warranty or do you mean their 30 day returns policy, because they are not the same thing?

If the shed delivered is faulty and therefore not fit for the purpose intended you should be able to return it for a full refund. Likely need to quote the relevant regulations to make them pay attention. Hopefully someone will be along with the info you need.
edited to add: Gov.uk website seems to say that you can get a full refund including delivery charges as long as you let them know within 14 days of receiving it.

30 day return policy. They said the 30 day return is from the date of the first delivery.

The problem is they are going by the original delivery date. I will have to contact them again as this is what it says on their website.
If you received your items more than 30 days ago
If something goes wrong after the first 30 days but within 12 months, we'll offer to repair or replace the item at no cost to you. If that doesn't resolve the issue, takes too long, or causes significant inconvenience, we'll offer you a refund.

Return it for a refund.

If you believe it is faulty due to the bowed sections then you need to stop talking to them about their 30 day returns policy and instead of reference your rights under the consumer rights act.

If you are trying to exercise your 30 day short term right to reject for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, then the 30 day clock is paused from the point you agreed to them supplying a replacement and only starts running again once you receive the replacement.
Read s22(6), (7) and (8) for the detail
But if you are trying to exercise a right to return under the seller's own returns policy or warranty, it depends on the wording of the polcy or warranty
