Bristol Clear Air Zone, where to confirm if I entered it or not?

Hi all,

I just spent the weekend in Bristol. I was careful not to drive in the CAZ (I have old diesel car) as I dont mind parking and walking 5 minutes into town and saving £9 per day. Driving away from Bristol I think I momentarily went into the CAZ. I dont know for sure as there were so may cars and I needed to concentrate on the road, but think I passed a CAZ road sign, but Im not sure.

How do I know if I need to pay the £9? Is there a website I can check to confirm I did enter the CAZ?

The online guidance says you need to look out for signs 😂 which isn't helpful if you missed the sign.

Only thing I can suggest is trying to contact the council and ask if they can help.

Bristol used to be such a wonderful city it no longer is in my opinion, I got lost recently and probably wandered in to the zone I have no idea or not it is very confusing and you have enough to do trying to follow road signs let alone their ULEZ stuff. I just paid it anyway just for peace of mind, but then that's probably their intention.

IMHO they should be doing something about all the ebikes, scooters, youths cutting you up with scarves over their faces and hoodies along with the filth on the streets, rubbish and mattresses left everywhere etc instead of hounding motorists. But there you are!

Indeed. I wont be back. It used to be a lovely city. But now it feels unsafe, homeless everywhere. I witnessed 2 fights in one evening. Another city gone to the dogs. This CAZ scam is just another reason why I wont be back.
