Love the shouting card idea, mine says he hasn't drawn any money out of account but every entry is The Red lion or petrol with 5.47 on the end for fags. I feel guilty going to starbucks once a month. Perhaps I'll transfer the money into my account so he's card get declined can you imagine his face, as the advert says, PRICELESS!!!!!
I feel for you - hard to be patient I bet.
If at any point in the past he has agreed with what you are trying to achieve, then that is exactly what I would do. If he has taken on board that there is no spare money, he shouldn't really expect to have access to any. My OH wouldn't draw any cash out because he knows there isn't any - just because the account shows a balance, doesn't mean it isn't spoken for. So if your OH doesn't get it, that's what I would do. I would give him his spending money that he can have, then move it all somewhere safe...Will make him realise you mean business.0 -
looking back, I'm horrified at the cash I've blown down the pub over the years. when you're looking at important stuff like kids food and keeping up with payments I wish I could go back in time and take the beer back to the bar for a refund..if I'd known then how much the beer would really cost in the end I'd have stopped home and watched corrie! For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070
