I have a problem in that I work in the UK but live in France. My one and only address is in France, my husband has a company penion from the UK company that he used to work for:
So our money we earn and tax we pay is from the UK But can we get a savings account opened with a french address. No! Of course the interest is higher in UK that is why we want to save there. Any ideas? legal ones.

It is a problem.
For others who may be moving abroad temporarily, it is always worth moving one bank/bs account to a close relative's address and keeping it open to "maintain" an ID that the banking system recognises when you return.
Sorry this doesn't help you, divadend.
Do you not have some sort of temporary / rented UK address, or do you commute daily  ?0 -
