open to be signed until 30 sept 26

All bills are monthly.
Its fine and well if you are a pensioner with your full mental faculties intact.
But for those with declining mental acuity it may become confusing.

ALL state pensions? So I couldn't choose to get mine weekly?

Unlikely it will change. State pension is a weekly sum, which you can choose to be paid every four weeks. It is not an annual sum divided into 52, 13 or 12 payment periods.
I was paid four weekly for a number of years and much preferred it to monthly pay - 5 weekend months are not welcome.2 -
The option should be there.
£241.30 per week£965.20 every 4 weeks
£1048.51 per month
May be costly to administer though, not sure.

At the time of posting, this has 'attracted' the grand total of 23 signatures in three months, so it clearly isn't the burning issue the initiator considered it to be!
Having said that, some exposure via this thread may increase that, let's see if it reaches the dizzy heights of three digits (when seeking 10,000 minimum)…

I don't see what problem exists that paying the state pension monthly will solve.

How would you cater for leap years?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
I can see why it would cause an issue when the vast majority of bills are monthly.
When I retire my company pension will be monthly and this will be four weekly, it will be the source of some annoyance to me, I would much prefer it if it was all on the same timescale.

Suppose would have to redo the calculation for leap years!

Ask for your state pension to be paid weekly. Should pretty much eliminate any problems, both real and imagined!
