UK Car Park Management PCN

Hi guys as you’ve requested I am creating this new threads for these two new PCN I have received from UK Car Park Management parking at my residential estate, holding a valid parking permit and displaying a blue badge on the screen as I was parked on a double yellow line due to all parking bays being occupied by other vehicles, bearing in mind that we have few unnumbered spaces that we are allowed to use and at the same time housing association vehicles are taking those spaces to park their vehicles over night and force residents to park in unauthorised areas.

I know no matter what I say in my appeal they will still reject it, you have seen it with the court claim, I am also considering taking this up to the housing association who authorised these thugs to treat us like criminals while they are the criminals.

Any help is appreciated. Many thanks

    I would ignore them.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There is no appeal but I'm only saying ignore 'THEM' (UKCPM).

Not to ignore it completely. The NEWBIES thread is very clear on this: Plan A is to complain to the housing association.

My relative works for a HA in Worthing who use UKCPM and she tells me they often ask UKCPM to cancel PCNs as long as residents ask early.

It's normal for a HA to cancel some PCNs.

Your complaint should include the fact you have a Blue Badge and the issue exposes that UKCPM are breaching the Equality Act 2010, by failing to make a 'reasonable adjustment' for disabled residents when no bays are free.

The fact is, the ordinary meaning of double yellow lines (on street) is that motorists with Blue Badges can park for 3 hours.

If the HA chooses to copy that 'consumer notice' surface marking, then they and their agents are bound by its 'ordinary meaning' and must allow Blue Badge holders to use it, even if merely as an exception or 'reasonable adjustment'. Failure to do so breaches the Equality Act 2010, an offence for which the HA is liable.

@Coupon-mad I have a question, I have a cctv penalty charge while I’m picking a passenger it’s a council PCN through cctv camera, is there a time limit frame for the council to response to you appeal?, I know for non camera PCN they should get back to you within 56 days I believe! Is it the same with the cctv PCN?

I an rusty on Council PCNs and we don't have sufficient resources or expertise to cover them here. I think you should ask our friends on FTLA forum (not MSE).

@Bazarius , i have appealed to the UK car park management who’s issued the PCN and not the IAS.
