Using TV as a computer monitor?

  • if it's the same shape/size as an s-video cable that will more than likely work - it'll be a vendor specific connection that will probably do a few other funky things than just output tv

    the one the soundcard isn't the one, sounds like you don't have a tv out on you g/card, buy all the bits i posted above and jobs a gud'n, better than paying £35 that maplin charge.if you still want to have a monitor connected to you pc you will need a splitter cable.
  • Well. I've abondoned that idea and I've now decided upon a rather more expensive method. Buying a TV/monitor. I mainly want to hook my PC up to the TV because of 4OD downloads etc.

    I've been looking on ebuyer at a Samsung SM2032MW 20 inch which seems quite good.

    Will this do the job?
