Returned within 50 Minutes, instead of 1 hour
Forgot shopping so had to return, but it was within 1 hour. The driver has a disabled badge.
Received court documents and wanted to know what defence I can add.

With an issue date of 27/05/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS before or on 15/06/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 29/06/26

If pushed hard enough they can issue a discontinuance of the claim.
As it is you could have two different drivers.
Can you give the location of the car park in question?

You mean you drove out of the carpark and then back in ?

yes, 50 minutes later. They are saying couldn't return within 1 hour.

It's the infamous Beavis car park in Chelmsford where PE scored their spectacular Supreme Court success. You need to wonder why they've shipped this one out to DCB Legal? It's because they have no likelihood of successfully prosecuting a 'no return within' case - Beavis or no Beavis!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The original purpose of the no return within in X was to prevent people staying close to a limit, getting in the car leaving to drive round and then re-entering again soon or straight after.
The issue is that PPCs are now, and relatively recently starting to pervert this as a means to make money.
People will re-enter retail parks/supermarket car parks if they have forgotten something or need to return an item and that should be a legitimate use of the facilities.
There is also the very real issue that it could be the same vehicle with a different driver.
Even though a court claim has been issued, maximum pressure should be applied to the landowner who needs reminding that they are jointly and severaly liable for the actions of their agents, and they must instruct their agents to issue a discontinuance of the court claim, which is a simple process that can be completed online
Telling them that they are jointly liable, and the claim can be stopped will stop them backing into a corner with the nothing to do with us lie, and the court proceedings have been issued so they cant be stopped lie
You should also continue to work on your defence, but you should also contact the landowner with the above as its your duty to ensure you take all reasonable action to stop this using valuable court time

In 2023/4 ParkingEye replaced all the signs, according to @pinkelephant12's evidence in the 'signage pictures' thread. Here's a screenshot of the latest sign there which is interesting because they changed it from the inadequate 2 hours which caught out Barry Beavis, to 3 hours free.
There is a no return clause but that term won't be visible in the accessible bays:
Questions:
- Adding both visits together, was the total stay under 3 hours ten minutes?
- Did you appeal with a copy of your Blue Badge, or ignored it all?
- Were you using a an accessible bay for either parking session?
- Is forgetfulness or brain fog a feature of any medical condition of the driver or passenger?
- Show us the PCN (BOTH SIDES) if you have it.
