Zopa to Oxbury
Hi all….1st post here …bear with me if in wrong thread….long story short…tried to move my money from Zopa to Oxbury…Oxbury not under open banking connections…so entered manually…Zopa has asked for Oxbury statement to verify before transaction can be approved..!!! If that makes sense….

Is Zopa your designated linked account for your Oxbury account?
Otherwise you will get the same issue I did when Oxbury replied with the following email -
"Thank you for making a deposit into your Oxbury savings account. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept this payment as it was not sent from your Linked Account. Your Linked Account is the current account you nominated when applying for making all payments in and out of your Oxbury savings account."

That is extremely annoying, everyday banking involves more and more bureaucracy

I have 50+ savings accounts (not all active). Every single one that has asked for (or needs) a nominated account uses the same RBS current account I've had for decades.
So when I move my Zopa cash to Oxbury it'll go via this same account. Double the number of transactions but just far easier admin.
Same account gets used to fund all of my monthly savers.

I've been a reader of your posts for a while…wish i had known this previously…Yes was thinking that way after i hit the brick wall…it needs to be moved out of Zopa 1st …have started to move it under their daily limits…weekly limit too…bit of a pain i know…

Zopa can be a real pain if you’re moving money to new accounts. Safest to move to a ‘known’ account and then move on accordingly.

I'm doing similar, taking £100,000 from Marcus to Oxbury, £20,000 at a time as that's all I can transfer via my nominated account (TSB) after four transactions TSB blocked my payments, so I ended up with a long phone call to get things moving again. Turns out that with one call to both TSB and Marcus I could have done it in one transaction. I suppose this could apply with a Zopo transaction as well?
