British gas switch
Be aware of switch to British gas.
switched using the link on this link, but after just 2 days told them I wished to go back to previous supplier. They said fine, but they delayed the switch back until after the cooling off period had ended and then added early exit fees to the bill. They tried to say the switch back didn't happen until after the cooling off period because of my new supplier and therefore the fees were added. 2 things, if you give notice that you'd like to leave an energy company anytime within the cooling off period, no early exit fees apply, regardless of whether it happens afterwards. That was misleading and a lie. Regardless, it was British gas that caused the delay by not giving the new supplier information they requested. They placed 2 black markers against us with credit agencies and we had letters from debt recovery agencies.
This matter is now with the energy ombudsman and gas been ongoing since early October.
If f you do make the switch, be sure to save emails and record telephone conversations and take the names if people you speak to.

You could also think it through a little more carefully before switching so you don’t change your mind 48 hours later.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have not could of.2 -
Circumstances, information and perceptions change.
The cooling off period is there for a very good reason.
Your comment seems a little harsh.

OP - out of interest, why the change of mind?
