How to present IHT Forms, schedules and supporting docs?

Think I'm finally there and ready to submit this thick wad of IHT documents to HMRC.

I've googled conflicting advice on how best to send it back. Some advice says absolutely no staples or paperclips as its all scanned on receipt and will present problems and cause delays.

Other advice says staple/paperclip forms/schedules together in logical groups for ease of understanding.

Anyone got any experience of best way to do it?

I used the small japanese slide clips (search on amazon) as they lie flat and only use tension, but without the potential for tearing as paperclips sometimes do.
