No, Santander are more generous than that! The limit for each customer for Edge current accounts is indeed 1x sole and 1x joint, but for Edge Saver accounts it's two per individual customer - the joint current account qualifies both account holders to each hold a second Edge Saver account. My partner & I have four Edge Savers between us.

The limit is 3 Edge savers per individual, one for a joint Edge account, one for an individual Edge account and one for an Edge Explorer account.

You can have an account in your sole name. You must be 18 or over, live in the UK and have a Santander Edge Explorer or Santander Edge current account.
You can have a maximum of three Edge Saver accounts in total – one linked to each Edge current account you hold (whether sole or joint) and one linked to your Edge Explorer current account.

Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.

Being hated by idiots is the price you pay for not being one of them.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
