Will making & Poa recommendations.

Good morning, I would like to do a will. I have also seen a programme on Power of attorney which makes sense. Unfortunately, the more I am searching the more 'we are the best' is popping up.

Can anyone advise & recommend please. - Thank you in advance.

You can do the POA on line for about £90 each. No need to pay anyone else £300 plus for each.

With respect to wills, maybe check who is doing Wills month? A solicitor is a much better option than will writers even if they cost. Much cheaper paying a few hundred up front than leaving your beneficiaries a £k problem. If you've got a blended family or don't want everything to go to your spouses family if you die first consider a more expensive STEP solicitor.qa2we4

Store your will with HMCTS for £29. Avoids will writers and lawyers who go bust, die, get closed down by regulators.

You don’t tell us anything about your personal circumstances so other than saying that you should put both in place it is hard to say much more. If you have nothing to leave other than a small amount of cash and personal possessions then you could get away with a DIY will otherwise you should really use a local solicitor. If you are part of a blended family then it is likely that your will should set up trusts in which case you need a solicitor qualified to advise on trusts (STEP).
