MSE energy club British Gas Fixed Exclusive Aug27 v4

Hi

Can anyone help

I am on British Gas Fixed tarriff v49 ends July 7th 2026 (oops 28th July)

On MSE energy club they have a new tarriff British Gas Fixed Exclusive Aug27 v4 (offer ends Friday)

if I switched via MSE club would I have to pay my exit fee as it finishes in 2 weeks

BG have an exclusive for me for one until August 27 but the standing charges are dearer than the MSE one

Crossposting my issue from the other running thread. This tariff appears to have now changed?

You don't usually get charged exit fees by BG if you switch from one of their products to another even if you switch through the MSE club or a supermarket site. We switched via Compare the Market in April from BG to BG.
