Tesco - no refund on faulty goods

Thanks for your help everyone.
I took it back to my local Tesco today, as I've shopped there for years and they know me.
The supervisor said she couldn't give a refund due to the "3 for 2" promotion, but if I didn't want another electronic game, I could pick any toys to the value of £12.97 which was it's original cost. I was happy with that, and I've managed to get my son a board game and some Top Trumps cards, so he should be happy with those when he arrives home.
So it's turned from a vent into a happy customer now!0 -
