I understand LG to be the most reliable make for a TV according to a TV repair person who was on YouTube somewhere

Whichever TV you choose, don't go 32" you will regret it as your main TV.
43" is considered small these days, but suit a small lounge, I definitely wouldn't go any smaller.
There will always have to be compromises when buying a budget TV, but decent ones can be had. You'll need one with decent brightness if you have it in a well lit space, near a window.
Suggestion:-
TCL 43P7K-UK | 43 inch QLED 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV | Richer Sounds

The OP has asked us to suggest 'a decent one under £200'.
@RumRat, your suggestion is £279

Richer Sounds have a number of TVs under £200, free delivery and 6 year guarantee.

Really, at the price level you are looking at (be sure to tick the non-default "deal price"), the TVs will be functional but none are going to be the latest state-of-the-art technology. There doesn't seem to be anything to choose between them so I'd probably just buy the one that I liked the look of best, or buy the cheapest.
Check that the wide apart feet will fit on whatever you plan to stand the TV on.
I disagree with the comments about 32" being too small. It all depends on the size of the room, but we had a 32" TV for many years and the 39" we replaced it with is too large TBH.

A 720p panel feel very dated now, even with YouTube it'll be soft and muddy. 1080p would be a realistic minimum.

720 on a smaller screen is sufficient.

I'm fully aware of the price of the TV. The OP doesn't need to take the recommendation or advice anymore than they do for some of the other suggestions.
The suggestion I made is within reach of OP's budget, with reasons that I thought it may be better than some other suggestions. It's worth the stretch IMO, if the stretch can't be made then the OP can buy a cheaper smaller TV if they wish.
