On The Beach Holidays - NO HUMANS apparently
Shout‑out to On The Beach for providing the most chaotic customer service experience of my life.
Asked for a name change.
They said “no can do”.
Charged us for a whole new seat.
Confirmed the new seat.
Then magically teleported my son onto a different flight entirely.
At this point I’m convinced their booking system is powered by a hamster on a wheel and a packet of Skittles.
Utterly, spectacularly useless.
I've complained.. bounced back 'we will get back to you in 28 days' Really useful as we travel in a month's time.
I've tried talking to their AI 'Live chat' .. Nothing behind the eyes !!
Anyone got any other ways in ? The stress is unreal. Will never use again.

You sometimes bypass their chatbot by repeatedly typing or saying speak to person until the system gives up and put you through.
alternatively I found this number online but I’ve not used it so I don’t know how accurate it is. If it gives you a chatbot to keep repeating the speak to human thing again.

Thank you Elsien. I've tried this number and its just another automated line. Still no one to talk too. :(

OTB are no strangers to complaints.

Why do people use OTB? They were a nightmare during Covid. People have short memories.

not even if you do the “speak to human” thing?

They claim to offer a callback option, but not sure how that's initiated, have you perhaps tried 'call me back' (or similar) too?
We do have a phone number (0371 4743000), but it works differently to traditional phone lines.
When you call, you'll reach our self-service line which guides you through common questions and solutions. If your query needs more support, the line will direct you to Live Chat. For matters that genuinely require a phone conversation, we'll arrange to call you back directly.
