Are these cracks worth worrying about?

Curious about people’s thoughts on this…

We had the back wall of our house opened up into the conservatory 12 years ago and it’s been fine. We rented our house out a couple of years ago but we have just moved back in and noticed that in the couple of years the tenants have been there’s a few cracks that have appeared where the wall was removed.

The tenants have drilled into the wall where the steel is to put curtain poles up (without consent) and normally I wouldn’t be concerned as they’re hairline cracks but when the work was done we were naive and didn’t get building regs as we believed the builder when he told us we didn’t need it, so I’m concerned it could be starting to fail (although it could just be yet more issues the tenants caused).

Please forgive the dirt on the wall (thanks tenants).

On the one side the crack starts about 49cm from the top, goes up the plaster and along the corner to make a ‘T’ shape. It then joins the plaster on the outside of the wall and goes up to the ceiling in the conservatory.

On the other side, it starts alone the corner and goes up to the ceiling on both sides of the wall making a ‘U’ shape around the beam.

In the room above the steel there’s a single small hairline crack under the window cill but it doesn’t go down to the floor and is only about 20cm long.

I have had a look at the brickwork outside and there doesn’t appear to be any cracks in the bricks or mortar.

Is it worth getting these checked out or am I worrying over nothing?

They look normal hairline cracks to me - aging paint, thermal expansion etc can easily cause them. Keep an eye on them, as long as theyre not getting wider its nothing to worry about.
