Parking Eye PCN - incorrect information?
Hi, I wonder if I could get some help please. I received this PCN in the post last week. I was going to appeal on the grounds that it’s been more than 14 days since the offence before they’ve issued the fine, but then I've read the paragraph on the back, about them contacting someone else, that I don’t quite understand. I am the registered keeper of the vehicle on the V5C. Have been since 10/10/25, so I’m not sure who they’ve contacted.
I’m assuming the 14 days doesn’t count now because they contacted someone else first? Correct me if I’m wrong though.
The driver parks here most Fridays, but genuinely forgot on this day which makes it more frustrating.
Any advice on how to proceed please?
Thanks

Very strange
But the NTK PCN letter above doesn't have the Pofa2012 warnings paragraph near the top on the back, so its clearly not compliant with POFA
The RK should appeal it based on non compliance, no keeper liability
No blabbing about who was driving or about what happened

It looks like they have messed up and are now outside POFA timeframes
I would appeal as “Keeper” and not tell them who the Driver was. See the “Newbies” thread
They will then probably decline your appeal but try to push you on who the Driver was but you can ignore that as you solely want the POPLA code to try there

Yep dead easy one to win as long as the keeper appeals and you don't imply who was driving,

Thanks everyone. I’ve had a read through all the newbies stuff a couple of times, & unless I’ve missed it, or not realised, I can’t seem to find anything regarding what i would say in my appeal? I really want to get this correct, but I’m unsure how to word it correctly. I’ve seen a POPLA letter template for a ‘golden eye’ ticket, but not an initial appeal one.

Adapt an Airport appeal or something similar, based on non compliance with Pofa2012 so no keeper liability

That's odd.
There's a Template Appeal in the first post. In colourful writing to make it prominent!

I did see that, but because it wasn’t specific to non pofa compliance, I wasn’t sure I could use it. I’ll go ahead & amend as needed & get that sent off. Thanks again

Personally, I prefer the Coupon-mad appeal in the thread below, easily altered or shortened to suit your own case
