Suspicious Galaxy Tab A11+ purchase?
Looking for a tab that doesn't cost a fortune. Was browsing away & came across a seemingly cheaper than should be Galaxy A11+.
Did some more searching & found this being sold a fair bit more elsewhere & wondered why it's so cheap.
Then remembered from past experience although it says Samsung store it may not be Samsung selling it & sure enough it's not. So I had a look at who is.
Hmm I was going to link you as I found them on companies house last night but I can't find them now. They're called FairTech.
So I didn't go ahead as it just sounded too good to be true & I'm not willing to pay the price somewhere like Currys are selling at.
I often find people here know more about the ins & outs than I so am I right to be dubious on this one?

Fairtech has 98% positive feedback in the last 12 months (423 ratings). As fulfilment is by Amazon, it's a simple return if it's not right. DYOR of course.

The company is called Knacktraders Limited, operating from a private residence with 8 employees. Been trading since 2018.
Check them on Companies House.
Amazon offer a warranty of sorts, not really the “belt and braces” of the warranty from a high street authorised dealer with distributor/factory support… but you maybe don’t need it.

It is probably a grey-market import from e.g. Hungary. Lots of places selling cheaper tablets do this - I bought one myself which turned out to be from Poland originally. Saved me over £100 and have had no issues with it. The only possible downside is you won't have the Samsung warranty or support if anything does go wrong so will have to rely on your consumer rights and whatever the retailer is offering.

Three totally different responses so I'm not really much the wiser.
Not sure what DYOR is but you seem to suggest can't go wrong basically.
When I checked them on companies house last night I wondered if they were maybe importing in from a foreign land & selling cheap.
That's actually how I got my Galaxy Watch years ago from I think it was called techinthebasket at the time. It had foreign software on it. Not sure what would've happened if I'd continued with it but I flashed it with UK software, which ran the risk of bricking it. It's actually been fine since.
But again, looking at their CH info last night I also wondered if this was as brand new as suggested or whether it was just a refurb passed off as brand new. Some times you can't tell the difference but if I'm buying new then I want new.

Oh and I did mention the company name. It's in the OP if you'd like to read it before responding?
I never actually found that. How are they passing of as two different company names then? Both FairTech and Knacktraders Ltd?

That listing is showing the seller as
TALKTRADE LTDso not sure what's happened in the intervening time?
:eek::eek::eek: LBM 11/05/2010 - WE DID IT - DMP of £62000 paid off in 7 years:jDFD April20170 -
Anyway this idea can be scrapped now.
I've just clicked the non working nefarious link which shows me that the price has shot up now so I'll not be buying it from that seller at that price.

It's not cheaper than this one delivered by Amazon. UK version with a 3 Year Warranty:
£179

Interesting. Thanks.
Curious as to why such a delay in postage though. A months span? Maybe it's coming from abroad. I was looking at a clippy lid plastic container last month. The estimated delivery time was anywhere between now and mid December!
I'll need to see if it can be delivered to a locker, since some items can't be. It's no good having a "it'll turn up when it turns up" date as I can't take time off work indefinitely just to sit around waiting on it turning up.
