I see theres a new slimmer model out means the holes won't line up for the wall. I heard there's backplates you can buy but can't see any. It says in Google my current one stops working in 2029. But seemingly older models still work without software updates. Anybody else had this issue? Don't really want holes in wall but having a piece tech they shut off and can't use won't be any good either?
