Dcb late discontinuation

hi,

I got a ticket some while ago and took advice from you all. As predicted, they left it till late, after lots of answer phone messages and emails basically begging me to phone and ‘make a deal’ (I wonder if a certain fat, orange moron is involved?), then emailed me yesterday to say they were closing the file. No apology, no explanation.

My question is, why do we just accept that? Time is money, and people collectively spend a lot of time defending spurious claims which the company does NOT intend to pursue fully. That time adds up, and so does the stress (my wife worries about these things and it has really put her about).But everybody, in their respective silos, just lets it go? They’ll never change practices if there are no consequences. Not sure what the solution is (I could make a small, meaningless protest by billing them for my time but it wouldn’t get me very far). Just wondered if anybody has any thoughts
