What can I do with my makes
I have hundreds of cards that I have made.
I give them to people but I would maybe like to sell some.
I am not very confident and would feel uncomfortable doing a car boot or craft sale.
I know that there are card shops that sell their cards very cheaply. Perhaps people prefer to buy their cards for these shops.
Would Facebook Market Place be a good way to go?

My mum has a friend in the same situation, she just enjoys making them, (and little craft items like sewn catnip cat toys and tree decorations etc.), they are very good.
She regularly donates 3-4 shoeboxes full of them to the charity / community centre where my wife works, they put them on display there and the proceeds go towards the centre, however even then at very keen prices (10-15p each which includes the envelope), they are often hard to move, even around christmas time.
I can't help thinking that if they were sold in a garden centre or gift shop in a nice part of town, people would be paying £2-3 each for them. I mean a mass printed folded bit of card in Tesco's is £2-3!

Etsy? Maybe?

Could you start by taking them to a local coffee morning or similar events in churches, community centres etc.?
Being local you wouldn't have the hassle of postage and you may find that through something like that you'd make contacts for further outlets.

we have a Communty Cafe locally which has a Makers Market to sell handcrafted goods. They take a 20% 'cut' - there must be more out there!

Thank you Honey Bear1 -
I buy a lot of handmade cards (often personalised) from Etsy - paying ~£5 a card typically plus postage. I'd have a look and see how what you make compares.
I suspect Etsy is a bit cutthroat for sellers though.

Thank you for all your suggestions
Keep on trucking!0 -
I don't make cards but I sell my designs on cards on Zazzle (print on demand). I don't make a huge amount of money but I don't have the hassle of physically printing and posting the card or dealing with unhappy customers.
