Amazon - 3rd party issue

Hopefully someone can give me some advice on this.

My partner purchased an expensive item on Amazon. The company sent the wrong colour of the item. They have suggested that they will give my partner a partial refund however my partner wants a full refund and unfortunately they are not playing ball. If my partner had read the reviews of this particular company then I doubt she would have purchased the item in the first place.

What are her rights of they don't give her a full refund?

Has she used it or opened the packaging?

If she is communicating with them via the Amazon platform then Amazon can and will step in via the A>Z process if needed.

Thanks for your replies, will need to check. Item is unused; the seller has "proactively" decided to give her a partial refund which is not what she requested, seems other buyers have had the same issue with this particularly company. After a bit of research found out that they have been issued a "strike off" by companies house. Next time she will look at the reviews of the 3rd party seller as the reviews for the seller are either 1s or 5s no 2,3 or 4s :)

Will follow the A>Z process as suggested.
