Is anybody on the Nibe PeakPay Pilot Scheme?

The scheme is run by Shuffle Energy as a pilot for 12 months. I'm awaiting to see if we are accepted.

We are running a Nibe S1256-8 with 700m of coils (nice wet ground).

They sent an invitation in February which I noted but never did anything, but took a closer look today.

It's a Demand Side Response (DSR) scheme, whereby:-

• Shuffle Energy will connect to your NIBE Heat Pump via myUplink and read your smart meter data.
• They'll register your heat pump details with the grid operator.
• An event happens whenever the grid is overloaded – this is when Shuffle Energy will temporarily adjust your heat pump settings, but always in a way that keeps you comfortable.
• The chance to earn money throughout the year: you'll earn anywhere between 5p and £5.00 for every kilowatt-hour (kWh) of energy shifted – either avoiding grid overloads or consuming surplus wind energy. Shuffle Energy will transfer earnings after operating expenses.

Long and short of it is they can play around with my heat pump settings (a little scary)

I'm not expecting much out of it but it will be interested to see if it works.

Anyone else sign up earlier in the year?
