Nowt wrong with my current specs despite some comments. Looked back through some of my old books, oldest paperback from 1970s, yellowed pages, small print but legible, similar with older books back to early 1900s including a tiny pocket Bible.

Certainly many books OK, bought some in my recent trip, but some were too tiny to want to read them, possibly not helped by ultra-long paragraphs giving the effect of a wall of print

As I'm getting older I noticed the print smaller and my arms getting shorter.

As an older person, it's amazing how many of my friends think print has got smaller rather than them needing glasses. Or that TV sound has got muffled rather than them needing a hearing test.

I've found that some books have smaller print than they used to.

You can borrow e-books and magazines from the library (if you are registered with them).

Then read on their Pressreader app, adjusting font size as required.

A very useful resource, all free of charge.

I bought some credit card sized Fresnel lenses, you can keep them in your wallet and they are very useful for reading things like the tiny print of ingredients, batteries etc that my old eyes can no longer see properly (at least not in dim light).
