Hi all,

My current deal is due to end in Aug.

Would you lock this in for 1 year? I don't really want to change suppliers if I can help it

Any advice appreciated

That fix is cheaper than the average Ofgem cap that will apply from July.

If you want a fix with Octopus and don't want to move to one of their smart tariffs, the fix you've shared is the only option.

Do you think its worth locking it in at this price though?

I know it's a crystal ball with prices but thinking about Oct/Jan caps? And would you do it now?

The October cap is currently looking to be more expensive than July. That will make this fix seem an even better bargain compared to the SVT.

    > And would you do it now?

If I had a normal home, I'd definitely consider it.

My home isn't normal and I wouldn't suggest that I'm an example for anyone to follow!
