Flight refund help

Just after a bit of advice, booked a flight back from Sydney via Dubai to Manchester in March but obviously due world events the flights were cancelled and I am still waiting for my refund and despite contacting the company who I booked with on numerous occasions they are just saying they are yet to receive the refund from the Airline….has anyone else had the same issue?

You may want to name the company if you want to see if others have the same issue. 3rd parties are all different - yet another reason to always book direct with the airline.

And also best to move this to the travel board rather than general consumer rights.

Your wording is unclear, was the flight in March or did you book it in March? What date did you book the flight, what date was the flight and what was the flight number so we can check if the flight took place or was cancelled.

The flight was booked in February and it was due to fly 16.3.26. The flight did not go and I have a picture of the departure board showing it was cancelled. The travel agent I booked with, say I will be refunded when Qantas refund them. Originally I was told 30 days, obviously it is way past 30 days now. Every time I contact them it is blamed on the airline, who I have tried to contact but they just say it's not their problem. All I want is my money back for a flight that did not go

was this a one-way flight or the return of a part used ticket?

I am guessing this was a Qantas codeshare flight that was due to be operated by Emirates is that correct?

I am taking it that you did not book on 28th Feb? Although if the flight did not go that is not hugely relevant, have you checked that the flight actually did not go on something light Flight Radar?

You contacting Qantas is pointless, your contract is not with them and you did not pay them, your contract is with Opodo. Did you pay on credit card, debit card, some other method?
