Warburton Toll Bridge

in Parking tickets, fines & parking

I have received a UTCN today for not paying £1 for crossing the bridge. I don’t remember ever going across this bridge but of course I must have because my cars been caught on camera.

I am just wondering if I need to pay the £30/£60/£100 or can this be appealed successfully. There’s a great discussion on the bridge but I can’t make out any information I can use in my appeal.

Does anyone have any appeal templates for this particular issue?

    You can appeal it, but not successfully, they will reject any appeal

    As You say, there is a big discussion thread on here about it, but you wont find a bespoke appeal based on this particular issue

    You should probably ignore them

    Yep, ignore. They haven't attempted any sort of legal action and the chances of you being their first guinea pig are slim.

    Try emailing the local MP - I know they've got a bee in their bonnet about it, so another email would keep the pressure on investigating this very dodgy set up.

    Please show both sides of this 'charge' as we need to alert the MHCLG to this twisted 'toll' jolly wheeze by Excel that deliberately avoids ALL statutory regulation and doesn't operate as intended.

    I want to see the document here please.
