Just ordered this pressure washer, and some watermelons.

so I can 'stop the neighbourhood'.

The serious Q is, I've seen potentially-functioning versions which do have a motor built in to the handset, and this could potentially deliver a reasonable force - anyone know of them?

It only needs to shift pigeon-poo from decking, and ease of use is key, so ideally not a full-blown jet-washer if possible (tho' I realise may have to be).

Thanks for any pointers.

There is a YouTuber who debunks this type of thing, no idea what his YouTube name is, but he demonstrated one of these. It’s basically a standard £3.99 hose attachment that doesn’t meet any of its claims. I would think you’d need a proper pressure washer to do even a basic clean over and above what a normal hose attachment can give you.

I don’t know how to search YouTube but it might be worth looking for it as it is quite amusing to compare the advert with the reality.

EDIT turns out there are lots of YouTube reviews saying that it is rubbish as there is no ‘power’ addition at all and it’s basically a hose attachment

Initial view of the website looks like a standard misleading product scam.

The list of recently timed reviews at the bottom is common giveaway, along with no link to the hundreds of 5 star reviews.

I think this is what's being referred to but cannot be sure because my computer blocks the OP link as a dodgy site

Also the advert mentions £400 for a pressure washer. You can buy a branded one that is fine for most situations for less than £100.

If you are on Facebook go on marketplace and buy a second hand pressure washer ,you can pick them up for £30 - £40 and they do work.

But…seriously, folks… is there a device that can boost effective pressure that's built in to the handset?

On a connected issue, who else thinks that charlatans on t'net should be treated like ditto on the high street? Ie, se7en bells knocked out, and then dragged to t'courts.

"I've seen potentially-functioning versions which do have a motor built in to the handset,"

Really? Sounds highly unlikely from a weight and safety point of view. Source?

Also, it's odd, isn't it, that the more powerful jets shown in the video are coming from a nozzle completely different to the one being advertised. They're obviously fitted to a powered jet washer.

    Thanks.

I actually have two P-Ws, a Karcher and a Bosch. This isn't for me, but for someone who lives 6 floors up, and has access to a roof terrace, shared with pigeons... So, a very compact device would be ideal.
