Hi everyone,
I'm back from our jaunt to Pembrokeshire. Luckily we had beautiful weather on all but one day when we had constant rain all day. We managed to do a fair bit of walking, nothing too long because I'm not up to it and our friend Rob has a bad hip, he has had replacements in both but unfortunately the second hasn't been as successful as the first. I'm also not up to long walks these days. We did manage a lovely circular walk taking in Bosherston Lily Ponds and Barafundle Bay, very beautiiful.
We broke the journey home in Bristol but only stayed the one night, we'll be seeing them all on Friday when we go to Center Parcs again to celebrate Chris' 40th. It's early, his birthday is the 28th but the new baby is due on 6th July so a little bit close. They had a scan yesterday and everything is fine, she looks to be about 6lbs already which was Nate's birthweight so she might be quite a bit bigger than him. Having said that I was told that Chris would be a dainty baby, about 6lbs and he was nearly 9. I think they were misled by his small head, he's still got a pinhead (as have I).
I'd better go, but time to say.
I was delighted to read that the wedding went well despite the weather and that the quilt was appreciated Mehefin.
dp1, I'm so sorry your mother is finding it so hard to settle but it sounds as if she would be just as confused at home now. I hope things improve soon and look after yourself.
SS, sorry about the pain, it's so hard isn't it.
Hugs and spoons to anyone I've missed. Does anyone have any news of Nanny and Taff?
Have a good day.

Snoozer someone said Taff is on the gardening forum occasionally so it seems she's busy with her allotment. Not heard anything about Nanny since the end of last summer unfortunately.

@snoozer Barafundle & the Bosherton Lily Ponds is a beautiful walk, but oh my - those steps! It's about 10 years since I was last there but I can still remember them!
