Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet.
Glad you enjoyed the wedding Mehefin.
Have a happy holiday Coxy.
Hope you can control the pain Suffolksue.
Shame your bulbs didn't grow Chrisca, they are my favourite flower.
Yesterday was quite nice weatherwise but school was very cold and damp - there's a leak in one of the cupboards that hasn't been fixed so spent ages sorting that out again.
I put washing out when I got home and it nearly dried, it's finishing off on the airer. Ironing done this morning as I woke up early.
Showery this morning again, hope it stays dry for sports day this afternoon!
Take care. XX

Morning again, it's grey and chilly here. A typical summer day, heyho.
Mehefin, I'm pleased that the wedding went well, and that the quilt was a triumph. Pity about the weather, but that's the one thing you can't control. I loved that the dogs were ring bearers!
You did well making an outfit for your dgd Dp1, but sorry to read that there are ongoing problems with your parents,
Enjoy your holiday Coxy.
I have been looking on the Clar*s outlet site, I've had shoes from there before but had forgotten about it. There are some lovely shoes, sensible but nice. I'm going back for another look and will definitely order something,
Sorry to hear that you're in pain Suffolksue, your health problems sound debilitating.
We're going to a funeral today, of a lady in our street who we've known all the time we've lived here, 50 years. She was the first person I got to know in the street, through our eldest children who started school on the same day.
Hope everyone has a good day if they can, thinking of the sad and poorly.
Take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks Scarlet
Another wild and wet day in store here. Yesterday afternoon and evening we were treat with wall to wall blue sky and sunshine. It felt lovely after the dismal weather we have been having over the past week, sadly today its back to normal!
It's my last day today as i am homeward bound tomorrow. i have had better weather on previous stays but I console myself with updates from home as its been the same there! What has happened to Flaming June?!
Have a good day folks if you can. SS I hope you soon get some answers and your pain can be eased. Take care all stay x

thank you all I think debilitating is the best description of the pain I’ve heard ,had a bad night resorted to the morphine at 2.30 so a bit befuddled this morning must try and do some house work and it is the monthly quiz this afternoon which I’ve set so must check the questions etc .
It’s good you are able to use the van so much TA .years ago we had one and loved it ,sadly life changed and we were unable to use it often enough to justify the fees .
We had an almighty storm yesterday evening with huge hailstones and lightning ,not much thunder this end of town ,but parts of town had a beautiful rainbow at the end ,couldn’t see it here ..The philadelphus has dropped lots of petals and the roses were not happy!
Stay safe all

Good morning
A dry start but showers forecast, I have some laundry to catch up with so will put it out between showers. That's about the extent of my excitement today. Pork steaks tonight, with either roasties or mash and veg.
@Suffolksue I'm sorry to hear you're in so much pain, it is so debilitating. My bff has the same, she has seen the consultant who has put her on the list for a hip replacement but told her it's a very long list. It's frightening how quickly she has declined.
@ScarletRibbons Hope the funeral goes as well it can, that's a long time to be friends.
@dp1 Sorry to hear your parents are still causing concern, hope they can settle soon.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning all, thanks Scarlet. It seems very changeable here, I felt like it rained most of the night but when I got up it was lovely but fast moving clouds have brought more rain, sunny again now!
Enjoy your last caravan day TA, hope you get some sun.
SSue, sorry you've had a painful night. My front path is covered with soggy rose petals.
Dp1, the pirate outfit sounds great.
Camelot hope you get a dry sports day.
We visited our oldest friends yesterday afternoon and sat out in their garden for a pleasant hour.
DH is off to give DS2 a lift moving some heavy kitchen units this morning then off to the garage as the car Dpf filter thingy has come on.
Right I can hear movement so I'll go and put the kettle on, have a good day all.

We were meant to be having heavy rain all day today but so far we have blue sky and sunshine, I have two people coming today and we had planned to go bowling due to the weather but that may change now, we will discuss it when they get here as they may want to do something else.
Dinner tonight will be pizza and salad nice and quick, I need to do a click and collect order later for tomorrow or Friday, I am on a course all day Thursday so can’t do it then.
SSue I’m sorry you are in so much pain, I hope it can be sorted sooner rather than later xx
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning everyone
Just a quick hello as eldest DD has been distracting me with photos of Athens…
I'm just finishing my breakfast then will get dressed and go down to the care home before work.
I've just ordered mam a second hand Simple music box for her room, I'm thinking it could be a distraction for her when she has to go up to her room when dad goes to bed. He already has one I bought a couple of years ago, basically you lift a flap up on the top to play and close it to stop - nothing to fiddle with.
Hope everyone has a good day and gets some sunshine in between the showers

Sorry to hear that you're in so much pain @Suffolksue and the wait will be so long x
A bit of housework done, a long chat with my BF so coffee time now.
Hope everyone has a good day x

morning everyone just in from a cleaning job I managed to stay dry it’s forcast heavy rain all day it’s quite warm but I think it’s helped the wind has dropped I’m hoping to stay dry when I take the little dog out a bit later she’s snoring like a train at the moment. We have had the chimney sweep this morning hubby seen to that while I was out . SS sorry to hear you have had a bad night DP 1 well done with the costume I hope the music box helps your mam settle a bit . I’m going to have five minutes with a cuppa then I will make a start just a bit of a tidy and the kitchen a rub over . Some sort of pasta dish tonight with some chicken I will have a look to see what I can take out of the freezer for tomorrow it doesn’t seem to be getting any lower. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing
