Odd window behaviour for Chrome and Edge
Chrome insists on locking the window to the top right corner of the screen.
Edge insists on locking the window to the top edge of the screen, but I can move it around from side to side.
If I try to move either down to the middle of the screen I get a menu showing move, minimise, maximise size etc, but none of those options work.
This is a laptop running W11 Home. Dell XPS 13 9315 2 in 1.

Might be snapping:

I had thought of Snap, and I made sure it's switched off in settings. Curiously enough, since a reboot, Edge now allows me to move windows around. I'm wondering whether there's a flag in Chrome that does this?
There's also the possibility that Dell has done something weird with all its add on bits and pieces. I'm a bit loth to remove all their carp in case I make things an awful lot worse.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
