parking eye / dcb legal - letter of claim x 2

Hi guys, I've had a look through the threads for similar examples i can use…hats off! really great what you do here to help.

Please forgive me as I’m dyslexic and have troubles taking in lot of text/info so all this seem really complicated to me.

Around September 2024 i spent a few days working on a mural project right next to the car park and really didn’t see any signs which was my bad, no excuse just didn’t really think about it. A few weeks later i get my first parking charge for one of the days, i ignored it then i had a Claim Form from the Civil National business centre which worried me and i paid the fine.

After this i received the two other parking charges from the same week, i did ignore these and now over a year and a half later i received this Letter of Claim for £340

Do you think i can avoid paying this as i don’t really have any excuses? but i know these guys are scammers and need to be fought.

Do you have to add the section about my address? as they already have this?

Also is it worth adding reasons for disputing the claim? or does this not really effect much at this point.

Definitely add your correct address, to confirm it in writing, regardless of what they have on file

No additions, no explanations , no excuses , dont blow your chances

A Money Claim N1SDT pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL in the post ( a court claim, similar to any previous court claim forms. )

Just to clarify now that I’ve now sent the LOC email, next I'm going to get a court claim sent to me.

My question is - to fill out all the forms is it pretty simple with templates to copy and paste?

No form filling, no paperwork involved, but you wait for the court claim forms, then provide us with crucial facts from it, then you follow our advice and also follow the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum

You may have some alterations to make, deadlines to make etc

Ensure that you have a government gateway account set up
