Morning @ScarletRibbons Morning all
Woke early this morning, going to be a long day!
Off out food shopping later on. Looks like it's going to be a reasonable day today without any rain so want to pot some seedlings into pots as they are big enough now. Can then dismantle my plastic greenhouse.
@mehefin Gwen has done a great job, that quilt is beautiful. Glad you'll get it done in time for the wedding.
No other plans for today so I'll wish you all a good day x

Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet.
Very heavy rain woke me up this morning but the sun is shining at the moment, I'm sure it won't last!
I got a new cylinder for the automatic window opener on the greenhouse yesterday but am having problems fitting it so will phone them today to see what I'm doing wrong - very frustrating as first I bought the wrong one!
Had a haircut after work then managed to get the grass cut, it was a bit wet and messy but looks much better. I'll take the cuttings to the bin at work, saves filling my bin that only gets emptied every 3 weeks (I'm too tight to pay for the brown bin to be emptied!).
Lovely quilt Mehefin, hope the wedding goes well and you all have a good time.
Wishing you all a good day free from problems, take care. XX

Morning again, it's fine and windy here, not warm though.
Yesterday was an ok day, my trip to the dentist for a routine check up didn't reveal any problems, so I won't be back there till December.
Dh will be 80 in July and is having a little party at home so we're planning that. It'll be family and close friends. I'm in a frenzy of list making now.
I'm visiting a housebound friend this morning with some shopping, hope to be home by lunchtime, then it'll just be jobs at home.
Mehefin, the quilt is lovely, what a lot of work has gone into it.
Hope everyone's ok and has a good day.
Take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks Scarlet. A much better day is promised hereabouts, very little rain and the horrendous wind has dropped.
The first job for the day is clearing up all the debris the wind left behind and putting all the upturned pots and ornaments upright again. What a mess!
I spoke too soon about not seeing any fledglings yesterday as at teatime some baby blue tits visited the feeders with mum. Aw bless so.cute.
Have a lovely day if you can folks and take care x

Good morning
Bright and sunny here, looks set for the day, tomorrow promises rain, so will get as many jobs done outside as possible.
DH has looked at the leaking tap in the kitchen and has decided it's past it's sell by. I started looking at a replacement for it but OH said why put a new tap on the old (16 years) sink, let's replace them both. While I can understand his logic I'm not looking forward to the upheaval, not that we've agreed on the replacement yet.OH wants to go with a black sink and tap instead of the stainless we have now, but I'm not so sure.
Anyway, fish for tea tonight, we have salmon and cod in the freezer, so it will be either of them.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning all, thanks Scarlet. Weather a bit brighter today.I'm hoping to pop up to the retail park this morning. I want a vest type top to go under a sleeveless top that has matching pants. It's DGS footie presentation afternoon/ evening tomorrow but for me the armholes in the top dip too low so need a bit of a cover up underneath. I really like the outfit so hope I find something. I have got one that will do if I don't get one.
Derek, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Gwen has done a fantastic job with the quilt.
Fish and chips for tea later. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all
Looks to be a nice day with some sun and at least that wind has dropped, I had to bring my clematis in yesterday as it kept being blown over.
Off to get my nails done this morning and then take the dogs out and the rest of the day is my own, we are having a Chinese tonight so looking forward to that.
I have taken the covers off the garden sofa and got some in the wash, the dogs get on them with muddy paws so they don’t stay fresh for long, I need to look for some thrown to put on them which will be easier to wash.
I have t been up to mums yet so will do that after my nails and see if she wants a Chinese.
Have good days all and take care xx

Remmie I meant to say I would be careful about a black sink, a friend got one and really hates it, they show every water mark and bizarrely get very stained with food etc and are difficult to clean xx
