Broken Foot so can't travel, insurance claim help....
My daughter is 18 and was going to Sicily with my sister.
My sister paid for the holiday and is the lead passenger, they each have there own travel insurance with cancellation cover.
My sister has broken her foot and has a doctor's note stating she is not fit to travel.
My daughter has no one she could go with instead so my sister is going to cancel the holiday and will need to claim through the insurance.
Will she be able to recover the full cost or will it only be half as my daughter is still fit to travel???

She will need to check what the policy allows her to claim.
Things that are different: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
Your daughter will need to check her own insurance to see what that says.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Both can probably claim on insurance due to injury for the sister, and a travelling companion being unable to travel for the daughter. The potential issue being that the sister paid for both holidays but only has travel insurance for herself. The daughter potentially has a claim, but no costs to recover.
The sister needs to speak to her insurer!
