Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet.
It's really miserable out this morning, it hardly stopped raining yesterday. The garden is well watered so it can stop now!
Welcome to you loobidoo.
So pleased to hear the little one is doing so well dp1.
Hope your DS is happy in his new job YL.
Have a good stay TA, glad you enjoyed your train ride.
Enjoy the wedding Mehefin, hope the quilt has been completed in time.
Nothing much going on here, work is busying up for the end of term with lots of events and trips on - I'm happy to stay in the office!
Have a good day, take care. XX

Morning again, it's fine here, but has rained. The forecast is not promising.
Welcome Loobidoo .keep posting!
Hope you enjoy your holiday TA.
Glad that your dgd is doing well Dp 1.
You've been busy as usual YL, hope your ds.is doing ok.
Enjoy the wedding Mehefin.
I'm starting the day with a dental appt at 9 am, an inspection and hygienist appt - I like an early appt if I can get it, then it's over with. It's not my favourite way to start the day but has to be done! After that the world's my oyster. What a strange expression that is, looking at it has made me realise.
Enough of my wittering, have a good day everyone, take care.

Good morning
Thank you for the start @ScarletRibbons
Hopefully the rain has stopped but now we have strong winds.
Gardener came earlier in the week, he cut back some shrubs and weeded, looks much better. At least with all the rain I don't have to water the garden.
Take care

Morning all
Another rainy day expected here and still cool.
Following DS to the garage for him to have something done to his car and bringing him back. Repeat later in the day if it's finished.
Nothing else planned so hope everyone has a good day x

Morning folks and thanks Scarlet. Greetings from a very wild and wet Nidderdale.
The first week of June is usually a very busy time for the birds here, as its usually when fledging starts and we are awash with baby birds. Not seen one yet and the parents are still looking frazzled back and forth constantly to the.feeders. Maybe they are keeping snug in the nests in this horrendous weather. It's a marginally better forecast for tomorrow.
Have a good day if you can and take care. Hope the quilt is going to be finished in time MEHEFIN. YL pleased your DS is enjoying the new job so far. X

Hi everyone,
Nice to hear everyone's plans.
I'm working most of the day but have a meeting for job#2 at 6-7 so I want to see if I can finish job#1 a bit earlier so I have more of a break between the two.
Also thinking about another job application I'm doing but not got round to it yet. I contract and I'm sure they'll extend it but I'm also finding it quite stressful so maybe time for a change/perm position.
Need to take the dog out at lunchtime and hope we find a slot between torrential rain showers!
WM needs to go on too.
Catch up soon!

Morning
Looks damp here! Yesterday was very windy and our power was off for 2 hours in the evening - thankfully just after dinner but it put paid to my sewing plans as well as being able to get washing on the airer and the DW run and emptied. A blown fuse apparently- the engineer popped round to check it was all ok, always a great service and there were only 13 properties affected. Same ones as after last week’s storm when it was off for nearly 12 hours.
Bdog has to be at the groomers at 9am, it’s only in the next village so I can get home and do some chores for an hour before he needs collecting. Other than that it’ll be more chores and maybe some craft work later weather dependent. In the time I’ve typed this it’s gone from slightly damp to torrential!
Hope everyone has a good day
AA

Good morning
Not raining here yet, but still very windy. Nothing planned for today but I'm sure I'll find something to do.
Sausages and mash for tea, last night we had lamb steaks which had been in the freezer since I don't know when.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning all, thanks Scarlet. Wet and wild here. DS2 and DGS stopped by to pick something up for work earlier so we popped out to say hello whilst DS loaded up. It got DH up early anyway 😄
Yesterday my oldest friend came and picked me up . We went to the local Italian, it was nice as usual, we went there as DF was going to visit her DB after. Good chinwag as we haven't seen each other for a while although we phone, she's been on holiday too. I got a Thai curry out for the men, I was still full but had a bit.
A trip to Al&i is on the cards this morning.
Dp1 glad to hear L.O is enjoying life at school etc.
YorksLass, good to know DS liked his 1st day at his new job.
Def no gardening on the cards today in this weather. We managed a walk in the park with Ldog when the rain eased off yesterday- he won't budge out of the door if he sees it raining.
Welcome Loobidoo. Hope you all have a good day.
