Help to save more than once

Hi all

A quick question that I cannot find the answer to anywhere.

We opened some help to save accounts and maxed them out about 5 years ago what on tax credits.

We have since moved to universal credit and I am trying to find out if we could start new help to save accounts or is it just a one time thing?

This is driving me mad that nowhere does it say you can only do it one time.

You can’t open another help to save account if you’ve already had one.

are you a couple, I think so as you say accounts but if so you can both open one. I did mine then when that matured hubby opened one. That has just paid out and we can't have another.

Your Help to Save account will close 4 years after you open it. You will not be able to reopen it or open another Help to Save account. You’ll be able to keep the money from your account.

You can close your account at any time. If you close your account early you’ll miss your next bonus and you will not be able to open another one.
