I have a DCBL trying to recover debt for a Euro Car Parks charge from 2022.

I was not the driver at the time. Can I still transfer liability now to the driver?

It has not got to small claims yet nor have I received a LBA.

Correct, you can name the actual driver, plus address for the service of papers, anytime up until the Money Claim is issued

Would the driver be better than you at following our very easy instructions to copy & paste our Template defence to the claim, which - if you cheerfully ignore the £170 threatograms and let DCB Legal issue a small claim - will be discontinued by Xmas?

Do you really want this wound back to PCN stage with the poor driver having to waste time appealing, which is FAR harder to do than a simple MSE defence is for you?

And appeals don't work so unless you can get the retailer to cancel it, one of you will end up with a court claim.
