MSE Energy Club Switch
Update: Chat GPT suggests the answer to the first 2 questions is yes. Third question suggests waiting until 14 days prior at which time I can request the switch takes place on 2nd July.
...................................….....
I am currently with E.on.
Energy club offers an E.on switch which is marginally less but with a £10 cashback.
First question is can I switch from current to energy club offer even tho both are E.on so I'm not actually switching supplier?
Second question, would the cashback still be paid?
Third question, my current (much cheaper) fix doesn't end until 2nd July. If I switched via Energy club today, will it take effect before 2nd July or at end of current fix.
Tnx

Re. your third question, it's possible that your switch will take place immediately. You could call EON and ask?

Yes, it would. I'll request 14 days prior if it's still available and still best deal for me then.

If you were looking at the Eon Next Fixed 12m Exclusive v1 deal, it ended at 5pm today

Eon on their website say that if you are in the renewal period for your current fix, they will move you to the new tariff at the end of it. Not sure if this applies when you go through the energy club or not, but it does when you move directly yourself.

Yes, I did ask and unfortunately was told that would only happen on internal switches.
