Natwest are a joke (imo)

As above, recently my wife died and i needed to close her accounts natwest and barclays both had less than 10k in them, barclays was all done within 45minutes and my wifes money was transfered to an account of my choice, Natwest almost 3 weeks later have still not completed the closure.

Natwest yesterday i went into my local branch in canterbury to withdraw £300 so saw there was a queue and went to the internal atm, typed in £300 to take out, the machine buzzed and whirred for maybe 30 seconds and eventualy tried to dispense my money it somehow shoved the corners of 3 x £20 notes out of the slot which i had to yank out as if someone was on the other side holding on to them. Managed to get some assistance they closed the machine off and said come back in 24hrs. So this morning the stray £240 has not returned to my account and i am told we will put a claim in and this will take upto 15 days…………

It takes the bank less than a minute to rob me, yet i have to wait 15 F****n days.
