UU: I have finished the last bits of my 2nd remaining Benefit Hula Lite blush. I have been using it for a couple of years every day and have liked it. I would re-buy if I needed another blush, but I have no plans to as I have quite a lot of other blushes to use which will probably keep me going for a few years, so I'll save my money.

IN: I have replaced the blush with more old blushes that I have had in my box forever. Firstly, a mini Benefit Coralista pan that I removed from a set, and a large Benefit Georgia. I don't even know when they stopped making the latter and it's one of the huge old ones, so I've given it a clean and this one will be going years.

WNBA: I am disposing of a Pudaier Freckle Printing kit, as this was awful. The product and concept itself wasn't too bad (apart from being a bit comedogenic on my sensitive skin), but it was "quick drying" and this didn't just extend to drying quickly on my face, but also that the stuff very quickly dried out inside the container. It's a waste of money, as even with water added it's rubbish, and there's such a lot of it in there and a tiny amount used each time that it really needs to have more longevity to be a worthwhile purchase. 👎️

• L'Oreal Paris Lash Paradise Mascara Black Waterproof: HG, bought the replacement the other week
• NYX Professional Makeup Control Freak Eye Brow Gel - Clear: eww, looking at my spreadsheet i just realised how old this is….it's a year old!!! Probs shouldn't be using it on my face now, not so close to my eyes, so am calling this done. I have a Natural Collection clear brow gel that was a GWP so I'll start using that now.

And I hit one pan, first one since April which is a bit strange for me as I normally hit a couple a month, though I did buy a few new eyeshadows in the last few months, so that's probably why…… pan in my Bperfect Antidote Palette in shade Chestnut today- a lovely slightly warm dark brown colour that I do use on my eyes occasionally but was using in my brows for this pan. I normally hit pan in a brow shade and then move on to the next brown for another pan 🤣 But I think actually I'll stick with this one for a bit, it's a nice natural colour for me.

UU: I have finished off a small brown eyeshadow that came from a Clinique palette ages ago. It was from one of those ones they occasionally give away free in a gift set and I took out the colours I'd use. The one I finished was a dark brown shimmer, one of the nicest I've had, though I have no idea what it was called and I have so many brown eyeshadows to use that there is little point in finding out to get another.

IN: I'm now using another small Clinique eyeshadow in a lighter matte brown (the last one from that palette) along with a little quad of Clinique shadows in similarly neutral shades. I gave the small one a spray with alcohol as I have had it for ages. I don't mind that with powder products or pencils as they are easy to clean.

UU inecto coconut facial scrub - this was from my mum, was gentle enough to use on my face but also used it on my knees and elbows. Replaced with a Neal's Yard facial polish from hoard.

IN - Provoke Go Icy hair mask - needed this to tone down some warmth coming through my blonde/gray hair. I've used the shampoo and conditioner previously but didn't want to buy anymore shampoo as I still have a lot to work through.

DR Paw Paw tinted lip balm hot pink - this was totally unnecessary but I am a sucker for lip balms and generally wear them over lip stick, especially pink. I now have a red, bronze, peach and pink of DR Paw Paw's, if anyone sees me in HB don't let me buy anymore! I sometimes think I'm a prime example of WW2 lipstick purchase theory, but with lip balms.🙄 This is actually a lovely soft pink, not as bright as the packaging indicates.

@Allthatglitter, would you let us know how you find the Simple hyaluronic acid versus The Ordinary? The simple one looks (ironically) more complex in the ingredients list and I really like the Ordinary (everything).

yes I’d be happy to, I’ll report back once I have finished this bottle, I’m also a big ordinary fan and their hyaluronic acid is actually cheaper than the simple one.
