Replica Bluetooth remote
We have just bought some expensive striplights which come with a Bluetooth remote. It's occurred to me that if the remote fails, the lights will be next to useless. I've looked everywhere for a duplicate remote. Places like Amazon, ebay and even the lights supplier but no luck.
Is there a device which could copy the Bluetooth signal and replicate it in case the original remote fails in the future? My research suggests this can't be done but I thought I would ask. It just seems excessive to buy a spare light just to get another remote!
Thanks

If there is an App available from the Play Store/Apple store you may be able to use that and thus use your phone.
A replacement generic Bluetooth remote for lights may work if it works on the same frequency or if the lights allow a repairing to occur otherwise it may need a "hub" of some sort.1 -
Which lights are they?
In principle it would be easy to do but the manufacturer could also block them if they want to drive sales of their replacement remotes rather than allow people to use generics or apps by having a proprietary handshake

SmartLife or Tuya apps can operate a multitude of devices so would be worth a try.
