Hi,
I have received a reply from CEL which sounds like a generic on with mention of pictures of the car take by ANPR and they have attached a parking charge notice sent on 10/11/2023 which was 7 days after the alleged contravention as they say.
The bit i don't understand is the parking is free for 50 minutes and the car was parked for 29 minutes but they are now charging me for parking the car outside of their restricted hours which does not make sense.
Attached first image is their sign on one of the hidden poles in the car park and the second screenshot is of the letter they sent with generic witness statement.

The parking is only free between 8am and 8pm (there is no time as 20:00pm) and you parked at night
The signage though is confusing and not understandable on a first reading

exactly my point and it says restrictions only apply between 8am - 8pm on the signage and on the letter received they said 8pm-8am. either way they have not answered the basis of this claim. why they think i am liable for this penalty charge.

Just follow the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum, same as everyone else, if the CNBC have posted it ( ignore the early N180 and the early WS from CEL. )
