E: 14/06 Win your own Fury wedding worth a whopping £44k (Effort)
https://www.thesun.co.uk/competitions/39255473/win-fury-wedding/
IT was the biggest wedding of the year – and now here’s your chance to win your own Fury-style bash.
The country was captivated when boxing champ Tyson’s daughter Venezuela married Noah Price in a lavish ceremony earlier this month.
And The Sun on Sunday wants to gift one lucky reader and their partner a wedding worth £40,000 — including a dress and rings made by the EXACT same suppliers as the young newlyweds.
And just like Venezuela, 16, our winning bride can glide down the aisle in… Crocs.
While father of the bride Tyson Fury is known as the Gypsy King, our lucky bride and groom will say “I do” in their very own castle – the spectacular 12th Century Walworth Castle in Darlington which once housed King James I.
Our amazing contest is being judged by a very special guest from Venezuela’s big day — Peter Andre. The Aussie singer serenaded the couple for their first dance.
Tyson is a fan of the talented Mysterious Girl singer – who is currently starring in Mamma Mia! The Party – and even joined in the wedding singalong.
Our lucky winners can exchange vows in front of 50 guests beneath the trees in the woodland ceremony space at Walworth Castle, or host a classic indoor ceremony in the ballroom before enjoying the romantic tower bedroom complete with a standalone bath, luxurious his and hers showers, a spacious living room and adjoining bridal dressing room.
Walworth Castle’s wedding menus are created by an experienced British chef whose background includes Michelin star restaurants. Showcasing locally sourced produce including fresh Hartlepool fish and quality meats from Ripon, the menus offer everything from roast cod loin with North East coast shellfish chowder and confit Gressingham duck leg to rump of lamb and the signature “Castle” roast dinner featuring aged beef, pork belly or rosemary and lemon cornfed chicken.
A spokesperson from the castle said: “We’re delighted to be involved in this competition and offer one couple the opportunity to celebrate their wedding at Walworth Castle.
“We know how meaningful a wedding day can be and wanted to create something truly special for a couple deserving of an unforgettable celebration surrounded by loved ones, creating memories to last a lifetime.”
On the morning of the wedding the bride will get ready wearing the same handmade £545 “Molly” robe from Nola Grey which Venezuela wore.
A spokesperson from Nola says the delicate piece is entirely handmade, adding: “It features delicate oversized plush florals cascading along the dramatic train and sleeves, creating an unforgettable silhouette. Each flower is individually sculpted by hand, making this robe one of the biggest statement pieces in the Nola Grey collection.”
Then she will wear a dress from Ava Rose Hamilton Bridal Couture – which she can pick herself.
A spokesperson for the award-winning family-run bridal boutique business, famous for featuring on Say Yes To The Dress Lancashire, said: “We’re delighted to be taking part in the Sun on Sunday’s wedding competition.
“We’re offering the bride an off the peg designer wedding gown of her choice worth £6,000 from the boutique and to offer the luxury bridal appointment in our Colne boutique where Venezuela found her dream dress.”
The winning couple will exchange rings worth £2,000 from Bridgegate Jewellers, who made rings for the newlyweds.
Owner James Bridgegate, who runs the beautiful jewellers, said: “We’re a family owned jewellery business and our Retford location has been open since 2019.
“We specialise in fine diamond and gem set jewellery and also offer a range of antique and vintage pieces.
“We provided a classic yellow gold band for Noah, a timeless design that has been synonymous with weddings for generations.”
Isabel Wass and Angela Malin of Quality Cake Company, from Tamworth, will bake the wedding cake, in the style of Venezuela’s, worth up to 2,700.
They said: “We’re delighted to be part of such a special competition and can’t wait to re-create such a stunning statement cake for a deserving couple to enjoy on their wedding day.”
The day will be organised by Venezuela’s wedding planner – The Event Stylists – who dressed the room for Venezuela’s wedding in The Isle of Man.
Gemma, from The Event Stylists, who worked closely with the newlyweds, said: “We are delighted to offer our styling and decor services for your wedding giveaway.
“This will include any florals, backdrops and decor accessories such as stands, candles and things like that.
“We will also offer our on the day coordinator services, like we did for the Fury’s, this includes assisting with anything at all on the day, things like timings and setting off the bridal party down the aisle.
“It’s an ‘on the day’ wedding planner service that’s just there to make sure everything runs like clockwork.”
The mother of the bride will enjoy a dress and hat worth £1,500 from the same incredible Chester based designer Matthew O’Brien who designed Paris Fury’s stunning dress.
Having shown his designs in Paris and London, Matthew says: “To dress Paris for such an important family occasion was an incredible honour.
“The vision was to create something timeless, elegant and powerful — a look that reflected sophistication and emotion for such a memorable day.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be part of such a special occasion and to create a bespoke, one-of-a-kind Matthew O’Brien dress for the winner — something that makes them feel truly elegant, confident and unforgettable.”
Three beautiful pale blue gowns from The Prom Shop in Ardleigh, near Colchester, Essex, will be provided for the bridesmaids.
Owner Hilary Read said: “We are delighted to offer three dresses from our stunning Prom range for the bridesmaids so there’s maximum glamour, just like at Venezuela’s wedding.”
Personal hire service Affleck and Moffat, based in Darlington, will provide two black tuxedos for the groom and best man.
The wedding party will dance to the same DJ who entertained the Fury guests, gypsy wedding favourite DJ Andrea Shillingford.
Andrea – who helped get the Price wedding off to a flying start said: “I’m super excited to be on board The Sun on Sunday’s Dream Wedding competition as your DJ.”
The couple will have the same photographer, Peter Powell, who took some of the happy couple’s photos on the big day and our incredible Sun on Sunday video team will capture every moment too.
Our incredible hair and make-up artist will make sure the entire bridal party looks picture perfect.
Just like the new Mr and Mrs Price our winning couple will relax after their nuptials on a three-night package holiday for two to Marbella with Thomas Cook, including return flights and a stay in a Junior Suite at the 5-star Puente Romano Marbella on a bed and breakfast board basis.
They’ll stay at one of Marbella’s most iconic beachfront resorts, set on the glamorous Golden Mile.
Styled like a whitewashed Andalusian village and surrounded by lush subtropical gardens, the hotel is home to over 15 world-class restaurants and bars, alongside stunning swimming pools, a luxurious spa and wellness centre, and direct access to the Mediterranean coastline.
Julio Perez, Commercial Manager at the Puente Romano Marbella, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome the lucky winners to Puente Romano Marbella.
“Following all the excitement around the Fury wedding celebrations, we’re delighted another couple will get to enjoy their own taste of Marbella luxury with us. We can’t wait to host them for a truly unforgettable stay.”
